Your Spine the source of your Back Problems??

Updated: Jul 10, 2023

The Spine or as we like to call it our back, is the source of many issues and a lot of pain!!

Or is it?

Doctors and the medical industry as a whole would like you to think so. Bulging disks, compressed disks, degenerating disks, narrowing of the foramen, stenosis. lots of reasons they use to justify you to have surgery. Almost anyone over the age of 40 that has any kind of active lifestyle or that has fallen in some way probably has some form of a bulging disk. Not to say that some of these cases aren’t very legitimate claims and do require surgery. But any surgeon worth his salt will want you to examine every other option available to you, before you go under the knife. Obviously there are exceptions most notably a trauma like an accident.

Most everything in this blog relates to chronic pain, not to say that you can’t apply it to acute pain.

Would you not want to make every effort to fix these issues without having to go under the knife and all the recovery that goes along with it? The physical therapy, the pain associated with the surgery itself and all the months of recovery. For some of you this will be the case, but for others, lets remove our pain in a less invasive way.

That is what this Blog is all about, giving you a way out of your pain. In some cases it may be as easy as a daily stretching routine or a semi regular visit to a Chiropractor, Massage Therapist, Active Release Practitioner or Acupuncturist, for others it may require a change in lifestyle.

(no offence but something we all probably need anyway) In any case we have lots of avenues to try, so let’s get started.
